Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Account Manager to help grow our footprint in the acute and chronic dialysis space. This role blends sales, account management, and customer engagement to drive utilization, enhance customer experience, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both sales and clinical environments, a proven track record of managing customer relationships, and the ability to strategically execute growth initiatives to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Growth & Customer Engagement:
- Drive increased utilization of Quanta’s dialysis solutions by understanding customer needs and aligning them with product offerings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
- Identify upselling and cross-sell opportunities to expand the scope of customer engagements.
- Achieve or exceed utilization and second system goals for account expansion within assigned accounts.
- Conduct weekly and quarterly business reviews with customers to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with clinical teams, physicians, and C-suite executives to expand our footprint, services, usage rates and develop champions at all levels.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience by being present on-site at current and new customer locations.
Implementation & Account Management:
- Assist current team with on-site go-lives and implementation efforts, ensuring smooth integration and optimal product adoption between internal & external stakeholders.
- Manage customer expectations and provide ongoing proactive support to maximize product performance.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Collaboration & Strategy Execution:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans tailored to each customer’s unique needs and business objectives.
- Attend industry conferences and events to expand brand awareness and increase opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the small commercial team to align account strategies and drive business objectives.
- Partner with internal teams to address customer feedback and improve overall service delivery (Clinical, Field Service, Customer Experience, Operations).
- Track and report on account activities, performance metrics, and opportunities for growth.
- When required, assist with or lead sales meetings and demonstrations for new potential accounts with the Sales Director.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer challenges, and competitive landscape
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in medical device sales, account management, project management, or clinical sales.
- Track record of carrying and achieving sales quotas.
- Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures and equipment is preferred but not required. Proven ability to learn new technologies & clinical information is required.
- Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel 50+% of the time on short notice, spending numerous days in a row away from home.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and navigate a complex customer environment.
- Collaborative team player who thrives in a cross-functional environment with a customer centric mindset and passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Highly motivated, strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
- Proficiency in CRM Software (HubSpot), Microsoft Office Suite & ERP systems.
