Senior Analyst, FP&A
As Senior Analyst, FP&A at Quanta Dialysis Technologies, you will play a crucial role in the financial management and strategic decision-making processes within our start-up MedTech company. This position will be responsible for owning and enhancing our monthly reporting models and tracking key financial metrics. Additionally, you will be tasked with summarizing critical narratives for presentation to the CFO for the Board of Directors, developing forecasting models, and contributing to various financial analyses to support business growth and profitability.
This position reports directly into the CFO, and the candidate must be comfortable working with a small global Finance team. There will be heavy exposure to the growing commercial arm of the business. As a start-up company poised for significant growth in the near future, we are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to our journey of innovation and expansion. This candidate must be a quick learner, adaptable, confident, and ready to take on new challenges.
Critical Responsibilities:
- Build the Company’s long-term revenue and cash forecast.
- Update the long-term revenue and cash forecast as new information become available.
- Partner with the sales team to develop accurate revenue forecasts, pipeline analyses, and territory performance tracking.
- Work with sales leadership to model, track, and optimize commission structures and sales incentive programs.
- Analyze customer buying behaviors, sales trends, and market data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide financial analysis on pricing strategies, discount structures, and deal profitability to support the sales team in negotiations.
- Develop a prepare a monthly reporting package that explains business performance in the areas of revenue and expense management.
- Perform analysis as necessary to support decision making.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain monthly reporting models to accurately track and analyze revenue, COGS, and OpEx, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
- Delivering competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the leadership team.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost center results and efficiency.
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions.
- Communicating results and recommendations to senior leadership for improvements that will lead to cash preservation, cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlined operations.
- Summarize key financial insights and narratives for presentation to the CFO and Board of Directors, providing actionable recommendations to drive strategic decision-making.
- Work with our CFO to develop and enhance forecasting models to support short-term and long-term financial planning and budgeting processes, incorporating relevant market trends and business drivers.
- Lead the preparation of financial presentations and materials for internal stakeholders, external investors, and potential partners, ensuring clarity and accuracy of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Preference to CPA or CFA candidates.
- 3-5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Big Four experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and reporting, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial planning software.
- Demonstrated experience in buy or sell-side financial analysis, due diligence, and M&A activities.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights and presenting them to senior leadership in a clear and effective manner.
- Proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong desire for continuous learning and development.
Hybrid - Ability to be on site in Beverly, MA 1-2 days per week
